Executive Functioning

How you can support your child/teen to get it together!

DATE: Tuesday 28th May 2024

TIME: 7:30PM – 8:30PM

PRESENTER: Elizabeth Singhi

PRESENTER’S ROLE: Speech Pathologist

CONTENT: We all want the very best for our children, and this parent talk will focus on how to support your child to get organised and reduce chaos in daily life. Topics covered include: organisational skill building, tips on how to resist impulses and stay focused, time management, planning, problem-solving, managing emotions, as well as learning about metacognition.

These are all vital executive functioning skills we can help our children to learn – for children with additional learning needs and indeed for all kids (and ourselves too!). The tips are geared towards school-aged children, but can be applied with adjustments to younger children as well.

Elizabeth will provide plenty of practical tips, and discuss ways to incorporate EF skills into your everyday family life. Plus there will be time for questions at the end.

This webinar will be held ONLINE via ZOOM. Please note, this webinar will NOT be recorded.
